Diana Archila has enjoyed working in various materials throughout her career. In fact, there’s not much she hasn’t put to use in her creations. She worked with fabric as a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She later delved into sculpture and worked in clay, stone, wood, paint and many other materials. Then, for seven years at the renowned Johnson Atelier Technical Institute of Sculpture, she worked in bronze, cast iron, aluminum, steel, resin, rubber, paper, fabric, and everything else she could find.
Now she works from her home in Red Bank, NJ making jewelry and clothing out of her tiny little studio every single day.
